ORDINANCE NUMBER 04-10196
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TRACT
OF LAND, IN SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
K.S.A. 12-519 TO 12-526, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina., Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described tract of land, to -wit:
The West 515 feet of the NE '/4 of the NW '/4 of Section 1, Township 15 South, Range 3
West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the NW corner of the NE '/4 of the NW '/4 of said Section 1;
— Thence SO°20'37"E a distance of 60.00 feet to the point -of -beginning;
— Thence N89°44'29"E on an assumed bearing along the South right-of-way
line of Schilling Road, a distance of 515.00 feet;
— Thence SO°20'37"E a distance of 1254.11 feet to a point on the South line
of the NE '/4 of the NW '/4 of said Section 1;
— Thence S89°52'45"W along said South line a distance of 515.00 feet to the
West line of the NE'/4 of the NW '/4 of said Section 1;
— Thence NO°20'37"W along said West line a distance of 1252.87 feet back
to the point -of -beginning.
The above described property is platted as Lot 1, Block 1 in the Bland Subdivision
and contains 14.8 acres more or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526,
inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That Ordinance Number 03-10164 is hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption
and publication once in the official city newspaper.
