AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 1970 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE AND ALL
APPENDICES, EXCEPT AS MODIFIED BY CHAPTER 9 OF THE SALINA CODE AND REPEALING THE ORIGINAL
SECTION.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 9-200 of The Salina Code is hereby amended to read as
11Section 9-200. Uniform Plumbing Code Adopted.
In order to protect the public health and safety of
the City through the establishment of Minimum regulations
for the installation, alteration and repair and maintenance
of plumbing and drainage systems, the provisions of the
1970 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code and all Appendices
thereto of the International Association of Plumbing and
Mechanical Officials are hereby incorporated, by reference,
herein and adopted as the Plumbing Code of the City of
Salina, Kansas, except as modified by Article V11 of
Chapter 9 of The Salina Code.''
Section 2. That Section 9-200 of The Salina Code is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
