AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF THE SALINA
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.
W WHEREAS, All conditions precedent for the amendment of the Salina Comprehensive Plan have
been timely complied with. SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:

Section 1. Findings.
The following findings are made in relation to the requested Comprehensive Plan Amendment:
1. Amending the Comprehensive Plan Neighborhood Center list of Potential Zoning Districts
will better align the Comprehensive Plan narrative with the permitted uses provided for in
the Zoning Ordinance and the existing zoning districts.
Section 2. Amendment. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT. The Neighborhood
Center list of Potential Zoning Districts on Page 2-13 of the Comprehensive Plan be amended to
read as follows:
• C-2, PC-3, R-3
• Urban Residential (New Recommended District)
• Mixed Use (New Recommended District)
• PDD (With Recommended Revisions)
Section 3. Repealer. All prior ordinances in conflict herewith as they relate to the above described
real estate are hereby repealed.
Section 4. Summary of ordinance for publication. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption of publication once in the official city newspaper.
Ordinance No. 17-10877 Summary
On March 20, 2017, the City of Salina, Kansas, passed Ordinance No. 17-10877. The ordinance
amends the list of potential zoning districts in the Neighborhood Center future land use category to
include C-2, PC-3, R-3, Urban Residential (New Recommended District), Mixed Use (New
Recommended District), PDD (With Recommended Revisions). A complete copy of the ordinance
