NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS OF THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY
OF SALINA, KANSAS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a SRecial Meeting of the Board of
Commissioners of the Urban Renewal Agency of Salina, Kansas, will be
held in the office of the Urban Renewal Agency, 300 West Ash Street,
the regular meeting place thereof, at 3:00 p.m. on the 29th day of March,
1976, for the purpose of:

Block 0 - Parcell, 2, 3 & 4, as shown in the Urban Renewal
Plan in Project Kansas R-29

RESOLUTION NO. 128
RESOLUTION OF THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF SALINA,
KANSAS, AUTHORIZING DISPOSAL OF BLOCK D - PARCEL
1, 2, 3 & 4, as shown in the URBAN RENEWAL PLAN
IN PROJECT KANSAS R-29
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of Salina, Kansas, herein
called the "AGENCY", has acquired the property, described in the attached
"Exhibit A", in connection with the acquisition of the real property within
Project Kansas R-29.
AND, WHEREAS, the AGENCY now has the opportunity to market the
property shown on Exhibit A and described as follows for the sum of
$12,000.00
Block 0 - Parcell, 2, 3, & 4, as shown in the Urban
Renewal Plan in Project Kansas R-29, herein called the
"PROPERTY" .
AND, WHEREAS, the AGENCY believes that sale ~f said property, as
"
aforesaid, for the price indicated will i.ncrease the likelihood of sale of
other properties in Project Kansas R-29, which have not heretofoy'e sold; and
in the meantime will decrease the AGENCY'S overhead so that overall sale of
the PROPERTY for the sum of $12,000.00, though less than the ori9inal
appraisal will not adversely affect the AGENCY.S operating budget.
.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive Director of
the AGENCY be authorized and directed to offer and sell said parcel to Mid-
State Industrial Partnership, at the aforesaid price.
