ORDINANCE NUMBER 04-10190
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 38,
ARTICLE II OF THE SALINA CODE BY ADDING SECTION 38-35 PERTAINING TO
NOTICE OF CHANGE OF ADDRESS AND NAME OF DRIVER'S LICENSE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Chapter 38, Article II of the Salina Code is amended by adding Section 38-
35 as follows:
"Section 38-35. Notice of change of address or name.
Whenever any person, after applying for or receiving a driver's license shall move
from the mailing address or residence address named in such application or in the license
issued to such person, or when the name of the licensee is changed by marriage or
otherwise, such person, within 10 days thereafter, shall notify the Division of Motor
Vehicles of the State of Kansas in writing of such person's old and new mailing and
residence addresses or of such former and new names and of the number of any driver's
license then held by such person."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption
and publication once in the official city newspaper.
