SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
November 29, 2016
4:20 p.m.
The Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners was called to order at 4:20 p.m. in Room 203A,
Salina Bicentennial Center. Roll call was taken.
B Those present and comprising a quorum: Mayor Kaye J. Crawford (presiding),Commissioners Jon
Blanchard, Randall Hardy, and Karl Ryan.
Also present: Bob Saunders,Org Consultants.
ADMINISTRATION
(3.1) Request for executive session (personnel).
16-0454 Moved by Commissioner Ryan, seconded by Commissioner Blanchard, to recess into executive
session for four (4) hours for the purpose of discussing matters pertaining to non-elected City
personnel for the reason that public discussion of the matter would violate the privacy rights of the
non-elected personnel involved; and reconvene at 8:20 p.m. Aye: (4). Nay: (0). Motion carried.
The City Commission recessed into executive session at 4:20 p.m. and reconvened at 8:20
p.m. No action was taken.
Commissioner Davis joined the meeting at 4:30 p.m.
Jason Gage,City Manager,joined the meeting at 7:10 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT
16-0455 Moved by Commissioner Davis, seconded by Commissioner Ryan, that the special meeting of the
Board of City Commissioners be adjourned. Aye: (5). Nay: (0). Motion carried. The meeting
adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
