AN ORDINANCE CREATING AN AUTHORITY TO BE KNOWN AS THE "SALINA
AIRPORT AUTHORITY" FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING PROPERTY FROM
THE UNITED STATES OR ANY OF ITS AGENCIES, THE STATE OF KANSAS,
ANY POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS THEREOF OR ANY MUNICIPALITY THEREIN
OR ANY OTHER SOURCE AUTHORIZED BY LAW, AND TO OWN. MAINTAIN,
OPERATE AND IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND DISPOSE OF SUCH PROPERTY: AND
TO LEVY TAXES AND TO ISSUE GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS, REVENUE
BONDS, INnUSTRIAL REVENUE BONDS AND WARA14TS TO PROVIDE REVENUE
FOR SUCH PURPOSES; PROVIDED FURTHER THAT SAID AUTHORITY SHALL i
BE VESTED WITH ALL POWERS AND SUBJECT TO ALL LIMITATIONS
PROVIDED IN SENATE BILL NO. 235 AS ADOPTED BY THE 1965 SESSION
OF THE KA14SAS LEGISLATURE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
SALINA, KANSAS;
Section 1: That the City of Salina, Kansas, pursuant j
to the authority granted by Senate Bill#235 as adopted by
the 1965 Session of the Kansas Legislature does hereby establish i
and create authority to be known as the "Salina Airport Authority lit

Section 2: That the authority hereby created shall
be managed and controlled by a board of directors consisting
of five directors to be appointed by the governing body of
the City of Salina, Kansas
Section 3: That the authority hereby created shall
have all those powers enumerated and be subject to all provisions
of Senate Bill No 235 as adopted by the 1965 Session of the
Kansas Legislature.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from after its adoption and publication in the
official City Paper.
