Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners was called to order at 1:00 p.m. in Room 105,
Building. Roll call was taken.
e present and comprising a quorum: Mayor Kaye J. Crawford (presiding), Commissioners Jon
:hard, Trent Davis, Randall Hardy, and Karl Ryan.
present: Jason Gage, City Manager; Mike Schrage, Deputy City Manager; Michelle Meyer,
:tor of Finance and Administration; Chris Cotten, Parks and Recreation Director; Steve
.esty, Deputy Parks and Recreation Director; Aaron Martin, City Legal Counsel; Josh Howard,
Legal Counsel; Tony Smith, NMTC Consultant (via phone), S.B. Friedman; and Dan Klaff,
'C Legal Counsel, Applegate & Thorne -Thompson (via phone).
IADMINISTRATION
(2.) Resolution No. 16-7387 authorizing the City of Salina, Kansas to enter into certain
transactions related to the City's utilization of New Markets Tax Credits to finance
the development of the Salina Field House project, authorizing the Mayor and Vice
Mayor to execute and deliver on behalf of. the City all documents related to the New
Markets Tax Credits transactions, and authorizing the Mayor and Vice Mayor to
take such further actions on behalf of the city as deemed necessary to effectuate this
resolution.
Moved by Commissioner Karl Ryan, seconded by Commissioner Trent Davis, to adopt Resolution
No. 16-7387 authorizing the City of Salina, Kansas to enter into certain transactions related to the
City's utilization of New Markets Tax Credits to finance the development of the Salina Field House
project, authorizing the Mayor and Vice Mayor to execute and deliver on behalf of the City all
documents related to the New Markets Tax Credits transactions, and authorizing the Mayor and
Vice Mayor to take such further actions on behalf of the city as deemed necessary to effectuate this
resolution. Aye: (5). Nay: (0). Motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Moved by Commissioner Karl Ryan, seconded by Commissioner Kaye Crawford, that the regular
meeting of the Board of City Commissioners be adjourned. Aye: (5). Nay: (0). Motion carried.
