RESOLUTION NUMBER 01-5704
RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 4 OF RESOLUTION NUMBER 00-5655 FINDING
AS TO THE ADVISABILITY AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION PURSUANT TO K.S.A. 12-6a01
et seq. OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS AND REPEALING THE
EXISTING SECTION 4.
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the City Clerk on the 5th day of October, 2000, under and
pursuant to K.S.A. 12-6a01 et seq. for the creation of an improvement district to make certain improvements
in the City of Salina, Kansas (the "City"), and
WHEREAS, on October 16, 2000, the Governing Body of the City adopted Resolution Number
00-5655 finding as to the advisability of and authorizing such improvements in the improvement district
described on Exhibit A attached hereto, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is necessary to clarify the method of assessment
described in Section 4 of the resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY
OF SALINA, KANSAS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 4 of Resolution Number 00-5655 shall be amended to read as follows:
"Section 4. The method of assessment shall be that the cost of each improvement described
in Section 1 above shall be assessed on a square foot basis to the lots identified in Section 1 as being
served by such improvement."
Section 2. That the original Section 4 of Resolution Number 00-5655 is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect after its passage and publication once in the official city
newspaper.
Adopted and passed this 9th day of April, 2001.

EXHIBIT A
Legal Description of
Improvement District
The boundaries of the improvement district against a portion of the costs of said
improvement shall be assessed are hereby established and fixed as the following legal description:
Lots 2 and 3, Block 2, Lots 1 and 2, Block 3, Lots 1 through 3, Block 4, all in the Airport
Industrial Center Subdivision to the City of Salina, Kansas and Lot 1, Block 1, a Replat of Lot 3, Block
5, the Airport Industrial Center Subdivision to the City of Salina, Kansas.
