Dear Dr. McHenery:
As Secretary of the Alcohol Fund Advisory Committee, I have been
made aware that the Citizens Coalition on Drug and Alcohol Abuse is
requesting an SRS/ADAS Prevent Grant to continue and expand their
prevention activities. The goals of the Citizens Coalition on Drug and
Alcohol Abuse are to educate the community about drug and alcohol abuse
and prevention activities, serve as a model grassroots prevention group
and resource center for other volunteer groups and to network
parent/community prevention groups in Salina and across Kansas.
Please consider this letter a statement of support for this grant
application.

The Salina Citizens Coalition on Drug and Alcohol Abuse is in the process
of applying for a State Grant to continue our work in the area of Drug
and Alcohol Abuse Prevention.
The Goals of this grant will be:
to educate the community about drug and alcohol abuse and prevention
activities,
to serve as a model grassroots prevention group and resource center
for other volunteer groups,
to network parent/community prevention groups in Salina and across
Kansas;
To accomplish these goals we will need your support in the èoming year.
At this time we are in need of LETTERS OF SUPPORT to submit with our
Grant Request. A Letter of Support is needed from all persons, açencies,
and groups that we will be working with to accomplish the Goals of the
Grant.
Would you please write a letter in support of our work to accomplish
the above goals. It is necessary that we are in receipt of this letter
