BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:

Section 1. Findings. The following findings support the annexation of the property described in
Section 2 by the City of Salina:
1. There is a utilities master plan that calls for extc'ndor_ of City utilities into this area.
2. Annexation is being requested by the property owner in order to have City utilities and
services extended to their property.
3. The subject property is located in the City's Urban Service Area and is contiguous to
the existing city limits on the west.
Section 2. Annexation. The following described tract of land:
A tract of land in the North Half of Section 6, Township 15 South, Range 2 West of the 61s P.M.,
and the Northeast Quarter of Section 1, Township 15 South, Range 3 West of the 6t° P.M. all in
Saline County, Kansas, and more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Section 6;
Thence on an assumed bearing of North 89° 33' 08" East on the north line of said Section 6,
a distance of 65.00 feet;
- Thence South 00° 31' 33" West, a distance of 157.03 feet to the comer of the tract described
in the Saline County Register of Deeds Book: 388, page 994, and the Point of Beginning;
- Thence North 89° 32' 12" East, a distance of 1224.35 feet to the corner of the tract described
in the Saline County Register of Deeds Book: 388, page 994;
- Thence South 00° 26' 36" East on the west line of the tract described in the Saline County
Register of Deeds Book: 388; page 994, a distance of 630.91 feet to the north line of the tract
described in Saline County Register of Deeds Book: 1013, page 253;

real estate are hereby repealed.
Section 4. Summary of ordinance for publication. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
