Call for Special Meeting - 06/05/1911 Salina, Kansas, June 5, 1911:
To Hon. C. B. Kirtland, Mayor,
Salina, Kas.
We , the undersigned, members of the city council of the
City of Salina, .Kas. , hereby respectfully request you to call a
special session of the city council of said. city, to meet in the
Council Chamber, this Monday evening, June 5, 19111, at eight
O'clock P? M. of said day for the purpose oaf consideraing and taking
action on the resolution adopted by the mayor and council on the
17th day, of April, 1911, declaring it necessary to pave, curb, gutter ,
and excavate Ninth street in said city between the main line tracks of
the Union Pacific Railroad and South street, and on the rempnstrance
filed by the property owners affected by said resolution on the 18th
day of May, 1911, and to pass any resolution or ordinance relating
to such resolution and to the improvement of said street; and for
the purpose of considering any other business that may legally come
before such special meeting. ,
