We, the undersigned, councilmen of the city of Salina , do
'hereby request you to call a special meeting of the City Council of said
city for Thursday afternoon , January 6, 1910, 4 o 'clock, :.for the purpose
of taking action on an ordinance requiring telegraph and telephone wires
to be placed under ground. in said city of Salina within certain limits,
being an ordinance entitled "an- ordinance concerning telegraph and tele-
phone poles . "
