9` We, the undersigned, councilmen• of the city of Salina,
I Kansas, hereby respectfully request you to call a special meeting of
the city council of the city of Salina, to be held in the council
chamber of said city, on this, Wednesday afternoon, January 2nd, 1907,
at the hour of 4 oEclock P. M. , for the purpose of taking action on the
issuance of the bonds of said city to pay for the paving and improve-
ment of Santa Fe avenue from the south side of Iron avenue to the south
side of Walnut street , and to make an app'apr•iation to the contractor of
so much of the money as has been paid in on said improvement by the
property owners; and on the issuance of bonds of said city to pay for the
construction of the sewers now constructed and being constructed in
said city under ordinances numbered 1333, 1339 and 1349, and for passing
all ordinances and resolutions that may be found necessary to accomplish -J
such purposes .
