RESOLUTION NUMBER 16-7314
AA RESOLUTION RELATING TO 625 S. 9" STREET
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas
Section 1. The Governing Body finds that the following structure is unsafe and dangerous, and
that such conditions endanger the life, health, property or safety of the public or the occupants:

B Single-family dwelling and detached accessory buildings at 625 S. 9" Street, Salina, Kansas
Section 2. The owner, is directed to provide a detailed scope of work to remove the structure
from the dangerous structures process, and obtain the required building permit for the renovation/repair work
of the south foundation wall at 625 S. 9th Street on or before January 27, 2016 and require substantial
completion of all renovation/repairs necessary to remove the structure from the dangerous structures category
on or before March 4, 2016, and authorizing staff to proceed with the demolition if the owner fails to
comply.
Section 3. If the owner fails to commence the repair or removal, or diligently prosecute the
work until the work is substantially completed, all within the times stated, the Governing Body will cause the
Structures to be razed and removed.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall publish this resolution one (1) time in the official city
newspaper and shall mail, by certified mail, copies of the resolution to each owner, power of attorney,
lienholder of record and any occupant of the Structure within three (3) days after its publication.
