ORDINANCE NUMBER 03-10179
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TRACT
OF LAND, IN SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
K.S.A. 12-519 TO 12-526, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described tract of land, to -wit:
A tract of land located in the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Nineteen (19) and a tract
of land located in the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section Twenty (20), Township
Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Saline County,
Kansas to be used for right-of-way purposes, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Section Nineteen (19);
- Thence South 89 degrees 09 minutes 49 seconds West, a distance of Forty (40.00) feet,
along the South line of said Section 19:
- Thence North 00 degrees 15 minutes 49 seconds East, a distance of Nine hundred
seven and forty-six hundredths (907.46) feet, along the East line of Riverrun Addition
and parallel with the East line of said Section 19;
- Thence South 89 degrees 44 minutes 11 seconds East, a distance of Forty (40.00) feet
to the East line of said Section 19;
- Thence North 00 degrees 15 minutes 49 seconds East, a distance of Two hundred
seventeen and Seventy hundredths (217.70) feet, along the East line of said Section 19;
- Thence on the chord bearing of South 38 degrees 48 minutes 40 seconds East, a
distance of One hundred Eighty-three and Twenty-eight hundredths (183.28) feet, a
radius of Three hundred fifty and no hundredths (350.00) feet, a delta of 30 degrees 21
minutes 22 seconds, a length of One hundred Eighty-five and Forty-four hundredths
(185.44) feet;
- Thence on the chord bearing of South 26 degrees 01 minutes 15 seconds West, a
distance of One hundred Seventy-three and Eighty-two hundredths (173.82) feet, a
radius of Two hundred and no hundredths (200.00) feet, a delta of 51 degrees 30
minutes 53 seconds, a length of One hundred Seventy-nine and Eighty-two hundredths
(179.82) feet;
- Thence South 00 degrees 15 minutes 49 seconds West, a distance of Eight hundred
Twenty-five and no hundredths (825.00) feet, along the West line of Mariposa
Addition and parallel with the West line of said Section 20 and to a point on the South
line of said Section;
- Thence South 89 degrees 27 minutes 47 second West, a distance of Forty and no
hundredths (40.00) feet, along the South line of said Section 20, back to the point of
beginning.
The above described tract of land contains 85,853 square feet or 2.0 acres, more or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526,
inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption
and publication once in the official city newspaper.
