RESOLUTION NUMBER 03-6004
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE SERVICE CHARGE FOR A
RETURNED CHECK TO THE CITY OF SALINA.
WHEREAS, the City of Salina receives returned checks each month; and
WHEREAS, additional staff time is required to process and collect amounts due from
returned checks; and
WHEREAS, K.S.A. 60-2610 allows a service charge not to exceed Thirty Dollars
($30.00); SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the City of Salina shall assess a Thirty Dollar ($30.00) service charge
for each returned check.

Section 3. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
