The Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners met in the Commission
Meeting Room, City -County Building, on Monday, April 27, 1987, at four p.m.
There were present:

AWARDS - PROCLAMATIONS
(4.1) The Mayor proclaimed the Week of April 26 through May 2, 1987 -
"NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK". The proclamation was read by Mary Lou Odle,
Member of the Volunteer Task Force for Community Services Council.
(4.2) The Mayor proclaimed the Week of April 26 through May 2, 1987 -
"AMERICAN HOME WEEK". The proclamation was read by Elly Ritter, President
of the Salina Board of Realtors.

Commissioner Soderberg asked that Commission Action Number 87-54 of
the April 20, 1987 minutes be corrected to read: "Moved by Commissioner
Hodges, seconded by Commissioner Burgess that all items on the Consent Agenda
be approved. Aye: (5) . Nay- (0) . Motion adopted."

the Salina Code pertaining to insurance requirements for taxicabs and repealing
the existing section.

pertaining to insurance requirements for taxicabs and repealing the existing
