REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
APRIL 13, 1987
4:00 p.m.
The Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners met in the Commission
Meeting Room, City -County Building, on Monday, April 13, 1987, at four p.m.
There were present:
Mayor Joseph M. Ritter, Chairman presiding
Commissioner John F. Burgess
Commissioner Merle A. Hodges
Commissioner Stephen C. Ryan
Commissioner Sydney S. Soderberg
comprising a quorum of the Board, also present:
Greg Bengtson, City Attorney
D. L. Harrison, City Clerk
Rufus L. Nye, City Manager
Absent:
None
CITIZEN FORUM
George Toland, stated he was present on March 24, 1986 expressing
his concerns over some problem with Sanitation and Animal Control Ordinances.
He stated there had been some improvement and thanked the City Commission for
this.

(6.1) Approve the Minutes of the Regular Meeting April 6, 1987.

DEVELOPMENT BUSINESS
ADMINISTRATION
(8.1) Second Reading Ordinance Number 87-9179 amending Section 42-58 of
the Salina Code which pertains to permitted uses and bulk regulations of
accessory uses in the zoning districts; and repealing the existing section.
Moved by Commissioner Hodges, seconded by Commissioner Soderberg,
that Ordinance Number 87-9179, amending Section 42-58 of the Salina Code which
pertains to permitted uses and bulk regulations of accessory uses in the zoning
districts; and repealing the existing section, be adopted. Aye: Burgess,
Hodges, Ryan, Soderberg, Ritter (5) . Play: (0) . Motion adopted.
(8.2) First Reading Ordinance Number 87-9180 supplementing Ordinance
Number 8639 of the City of Salina, Kansas, and authorizing the issuance of
$800,000 principal amount of Industrial Revenue Bonds, Series 1987 for Salina
Presbyterian Manor, Inc.

that Ordinance Number 87-9180, supplementing Ordinance Number 8639 of the
City of Salina, Kansas, and authorizing the issuance of $800,000 principal amount
of Industrial Revenue Bonds, Series 1987 for Salina Presbyterian Manor, Inc.,
be introduced for first reading. Aye: (5) . Nay: (0) . Motion adopted.
