Extend Water Main eighth St.Be it resolved by the Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Salinas
That the Salina ':'Tater Works Company be and is hereby directed to extend
the .Yater main on Eighth Street ,comnencing at the nortz line of Ash
Street connecting with the stub already in at that point and run_:inb
north a dittance of 1500 feet,locating one hydrant 375 feet north of the
north line of Ash Street,one hydrant at North East Corner of Mm F. Ei,7hth
Street and one hydrant on east side of Eighth Street East of Lamers Tarn.
Also locatinb one extra hydrWit from the Forth 13th.Street line
to be located on North Santa Fe Avenue at a point near the Watson-Dur,.nd
Kasper Grocery Co.,as directed by the Fire Chief,and one hydrant to be
located on North Fourth Street at a point west of the Western Star Frills
near the U 13 switch as directed by the Fire Chief.
The last int above hydrant named to be taken from the Johnsto=
Avenue extension,and actual expense of sane to be paid by the oit,',V.e
Pipe and hydrant to be ft%rnished by Water Company
