Extend Water Main on Front St.Be it resolved by the T'ayor and Councilnen of the city of Salina,
That the Salina v7ater 17orks Company be and is hereby directed to extend a
six inch water main on Front Street from Iron Avenue to Johnstown Avenue,.
thence Fast on Johnstown Avenue from Front Street to Penn Avenue,there
connectin with main already in.
Hydrants to be located on said extension as follows: --
One at the Corner of Front Street and Johnstwon Avenue.
One at the Corner of Oakdale and Jo'nnstwon Avenue.
One to be at some other point as directed by Corporation L Franchise Com.
And be it further resolved that the Salina Water 7orks Conpany be
and is hereby directed to extend a six inch water main on
from Penn Avenue to Columbia Avenue,thence Yorth on Columbia to ::lm
Street,t�iere to connect �.-rith main already in.
Hydrants on said e:;tens ion to be located lis `� : --
ON is directed by Corporation. and
Franchise Corn-,ittee.
And be it further resolved that the Salina '.later Works Company is
hereby directed to locate one fire hydrant on Fln Street between Columbia,

and Kansas Avenue at Fast end of 111m Street line near t -e alleyo� n ona
hydrant on Columbia Avenue about half way between Ash &—Elm Street on
Fast side of Street,sarne being Vic two hydrants not definitely located
In above resolution.
And be it further resolved that the Salina Water Works Company be
and is herebY directed to locate one fire hydrant on Seventh Street be-
tween Mulberry &7Talnut Street as directed by the Fire Chief,t-ie same
beinC, hydraz.t from the Hiinland F. Claflin Avenue extension.
