A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION AND/OR REMOVAL
OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES IN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That in accordance with the provisions of Article 20, Chapter 8 of the
Kansas Statutes Annotated, the City Manager is directed to install the following traffic control
devices in the City of Salina, Kansas:
1. Stop signs be installed on Twelfth Street at Charles Street, with Charles
Street being the through street.
2. Stop signs be installed on Huehl Circle at Marcella Drive, making Marcella
Drive the through street (two locations).
3. Stop signs be installed on Dustin Road at Marcella Drive, making Marcella
Drive the through street.
4. Stop signs be installed on Riffel Drive at South Ninth Street, making South
Ninth Street the through street.
5.
Stop signs be installed on Sierra Drive at Magnolia Road,
making
Magnolia Road the through street.
6.
Stop signs be installed on Huntington Road at Sherwood Lane,
making
Sherwood Lane the through street.
7.
Stop signs be installed on Seitz Drive at Eastborough Road,
making
Eastborough Road the through street.
8.
Yield signs be installed on Pheasant Lane at Fairdale Road,
making
Fairdale Road the through street.
9.
Yield signs be installed on Village Lane at Fairdale Road, making
Fairdale
Road the through street.
10.
Yield signs be installed on Applewood Lane at Fairdale Road,
making
Fairdale Road the through street.
11.
Yield signs be installed on Brookwood Lane at Fairdale Road,
making
Fairdale Road the through street.
12.
Yield signs be installed on Northwood Lane at Fairdale Road,
making
Fairdale Road the through street.
13.
Yield signs be installed on Hillside Drive at Fairdale Road, making Fairdale
Road the through street (two locations).
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this 8th day of
Februarv, 1999.
