Regular Meeting of the Board of Coamissioners May 29, 1962. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Exlire, the roll was called and CommI ssioners Exline, Banker,
Bull, Spangler and Tucker and City Attorney Bengtson responded.

concrete:thirty (30) feet wide from back of curb to back of curb, from the west line
of Fifth Street to the east line of Ninth Street, the same being an intervening con-
necting street."
Motion by Spangler, seconded by Bull resolution adopted as read by the follow-
ing vbte; Ayes: Exline, Banker, Bull, Spangler and Tucker (5) Nays: (0) Mayor

Ordinance second r eading entitled: "An ordinance ratifying and confirming a
contract with J. S. Frank Construction Company for the construction of Off -Street Park -
1 + i.ng Contract 102, and providing for the issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost
thereof pending the issuance and sale of bonds."
Motion by Pull seconded by Spangler ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the folloh.Lng vote was had; Ayes:

nance and it is Numbered 6630. Ordinance first reading May 22, 1962.
Ordinance introduced f or second reaing entitled: An ordinance providing for the
` amendment of Zoning; Ordinarce Number 6613 and Zoning; District i•;ap therein and thereby
adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property within the City and pre-
scribing the proper uses thereof."
Motion by Bull, seconded by Tucker ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Exline, Banker, Bull, Spangler and Tucker (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the ordi-
nance and it is Numbered 6631. Ordinance introduced May 22, 1962.
Application for Permit to construct Recessed Parking Area, Lot 1, Block 1, Bond
Addition, between Ninth Street and Highland Avenue.

Motion by Spangler, seconded by Banker refer to City Manager.
Petition for permission to connect to and extend a municipal water line and
a municipal sewer line outside of the corporate limits of he City of Salina, Kansas,
and to enter into an equitable agreement with the City of Salina to pay for said water
and sewer services received from Kenneth and ?:erl 2?ordboe.

Application for Cereal Malt Beverage License received from Eunice E. Bryant
d/b/a "E & I Tavern" 122 West Pacific.
Motion by Banker, seconded by Spangler approve. Carried.
Pipe Line License covering under track crossing of storm sewer in Front Street
received from Santa Fe Railroad Company.

Motion by Bull, seconded by Spangler, City Manager get recommendation for No -
Parking on Crawford Avenue from Ohio to Broadway Boulevard.
Motion by Tucker Board of Commissioners adjourned.
