BUDGET YEAR 2014 NECESSARY TO FINANCE PUBLIC SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF

BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:

Section 1. In accordance with state law, the City of Salina, Kansas, has conducted a public hearing and
' has published the proposed budget necessary to fund city services from January 1, 2014 until December
3 31, 2014.
Section 2. After careful public deliberations, it is hereby attested that in order to maintain the public
services, which are essential for the citizens of this city, it will be necessary to utilize property tax
revenues in an amount which exceeds the revenues expended in the budget year 2013.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and
publication once in the official city newspaper.
