A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A HOMEOWNERS ASSISTANCE FUND FOR
THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS.
w BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:

Section 1. That a fund to be entitled a Homeowners Assistance Fund is hereby established.
' o Section 2. The purposes of the fund shall be limited to the rehabilitation and repair of owner-
a U occupied housing units (including ancillary repairs or improvements on the same property) for low
and moderate income households. The fund may utilize resources from private and public grant
programs, or from donations specifically collected to implement the purposes of the fund. In no
event shall the resources of the fund be used to support ordinary operating expenses of the City
other than those enumerated above.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this IP day of August,
2013.
