AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SALINA CODE BY REASSIGNING SECTIONS
UNDER CHAPTER 30.5 PERTAINING TO PUBLIC HEALTH TO A NEW ARTICLE III
UNDER CHAPTER 17.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
a Section 1. Amendment. That Article III of Chapter 17 of the Salina Code is hereby added and
shall be named "Smoking Regulations."
Section 2. Amendment. That existing Sections 30.5-1 through 30.5-10 shall be codified under
Chapter 17, Article III and numbered in the existing sequence beginning with Section 17-25 and
ending with Section 17-34.
Section 3. Repealer. That existing Chapter 30.5 is hereby repealed.
Section 4. Effective. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect 90 days from and after its
adoption and publication by the following summary once in the official city newspaper.

On April 15, 2013, the City of Salina, Kansas, passed Ordinance No. 13-10688. The
ordinance amends the Salina Code by removing Chapter 30.5 pertaining to public health
and adding those regulations to Chapter 17, Article III. A complete copy of the ordinance
