Also a lot of supplies, like barrels and barricades are stored outside at Oakdale Shop. Being on the north edge of town a lot of time is wasted in traveling to the site and back. Plus some things are stored outside at Oakdale because there is not room inside. Analyze By removing some wall and cleaning out the old swimming pool bath house supplies and equipment can be stored in the building across the street from the Oakdale shop eliminating travel time. Also because the facility is large enough supplies that were stored outside at Oakdale can now be located inside. Make Recommendation Remove the inside walls, clean up and organize the old pool bath house for storage. Process Improvement Director’s Approval Instructions: Upon approval this form is sent to the CMO Executive Assistant, who forwards a copy to members of the Executive Support Team. They determine how to convert hours into budgetary savings. Date: 2-13-2013 Approved/Denied: City Manager’s Approval Instructions: Final sign off for all recommendations that exceed $5,000 in annual savings, or 250 hours of annual increased functional capacity is by the City Manager, who also signs off on any plans to convert hours to budgetary savings.
