AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8, ARTICLE III, DIVISION 2, SECTION 8-
172.1 PERTAINING TO WHEN A BUILDING CONTRACTOR LICENSE IS REQUIRED
AND REPEALING EXISTING SECTION 8-172.1.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. Amendment. That Section 8-172.1 of Chapter 8, Article II1, Division 2 is hereby
amended as follows:

Section 2. Repealer. That existing Sections 8-172.1 is hereby repealed.
Section 3. Summary of ordinance for publication. This ordinance shall be published by the

On October 15, 2012, the City of Salina, Kansas, passed Ordinance No. 12-10662.
The ordinance amends Chapter 8, Section 8-172.1 of the Salina Code by adding
construction of sidewalks, driveways, curbs and gutter within any city right-of-way
to the type of work to be preformed under a Specialty Concrete Contractor license.

city attorney.
Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after it
adoption and publication by summary once in the official city newspaper.
