RIGHT-OF-WAY DEED
THIS INDENTURE, made this a9' day of August, 2012, by and between ANNA
BELLE MARIE NORDBOE, a widow, (the "Grantor") and the CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, a
municipal corporation, (the "City"):
WITNESSETH: That the Grantor, for good and valuable consideration, does hereby
convey unto the City her interest in that certain portion of land currently subject to Saline County
Road Record easement for roadway purposes legally described on the attached and incorporated
Exhibit A and depicted on the attached and incorporated Exhibit B as public right-of-way, in
perpetuity, (the "Right-of-Way") for the purposes of locating, constructing, excavating, and
maintaining:
A. Public means of transportation including roadways, streets, bridges, sidewalks,
paths, crosswalks, and traffic control devices;
B. Public drainage structures including, but not limited to, culverts, pipes, levees,
and channels;
C. Public landscaping and other aesthetic improvements; and
D. Poles, wires, conduit, pipeline, and junction boxes for the purposes of conducting,
transmitting, and distributing water, sewage, electricity, gas, and electronic
communications by the City, its franchisees, and its licensees.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantor has hereunto caused this instrument to be
executed the day and year first above written.

Legal Description:
A tract of land in the Southwest Quarter of Section 26,Township 14 South, Range 3 West of
the Sixth Principal Meridian, Saline County, Kansas, and more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Southwest Quarter;
Thence on an assumed bearing of North 00° 15' 31" East on the east line of said Southwest
Quarter, a distance of 74.90 feet to the north line of the City of Salina Right of Way as
recorded in the Saline County Register of Deeds Miscellaneous Book 75, Page 64;
Thence North 89° 53' 22" West on said north line, a distance of 417.42 feet;
Thence South 00° 15' 30" West, a distance of 75.10 feet to the south line of said Southwest
Quarter;
Thence South 89° 55' 00" East on said south line, a distance of 417.42 to the Point of
Beginning.
