WI -IL, IULAS the City of Salina, i,ansas, a ,Municipal corporation, has
1 eretofore ,ra!ited The ihansas Power a - id Light Company, a i.ansas Corporation, a
franchise to lase the public streets, alleys and thorofares in the s aid City
for the purpose of supplying electricity to the City of Salina, Kansas, and
the inhabitants thereof. being Ordinance No. i 9%,5" , and
cihrREAS, the said Company is furnishing, street lighting service in the
City of Salina, h ansas, and it is the desire of the said City that certain
changes and/or exteilsions be made in t:e existing street lighting system:

Section 1. That the City of Jal.ina, ansas, request and authorize
The Kansas Power and Light Compay to make the following changes and/or additions
to the existing street li 2-htiag system in the said City:
Daenty-three 500 tiyatt lam -)s on wooden poles, overhead conductor in
Sunset Park to e installed as spotted on the •accompanying sketch and plot.
Section 2. Mat the City of Salina, Kansas, pay The Kansas Power
and Light Compay for the street ligi,.ti_ng service resulting from the changes
described above at the said Company's prise schedule SL -1 now on file with the
State Corporat;on Commission of i.ansas, or as modified by authority of said
Commission or otiier regulatory body raving 'uri.sdiction over the rates charged
by Company. The :rices applicable tot -,e service covered by this resolution
and named irisaid schedule area s follows:
For each 500 watt power incandescent lamp on wooden pole with
overhead conductor, '27.00 per year.
For each watt candle power incandesce:.t larap on wooden pole with
overLead conductor, per year.
For each watt candle power inca.idescent lamp on wooden pole with
overhead conductor, per -ear.
