A RESOLUTION relating to the issuance of Temporary Note in the amount
of $92785.59.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance Number there has been appropriated
and transferred by the Water Works Fund to the City of Salina Construction
Fund the sum of $9,785.59, which sum is to be returned from Construction
Fund to Water Works Fund as soonas the construction of certain sewers
is completed, and the cost thereof is ascertained and bonds are issued in
an amount necessary to take care of the balance of such costs, and;
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and proper to evidence the advancing
of said sum of $9,785.59 from the Water Works Fund to the City of Salina
Construction Fund above mentioned, and the debt thereby created, by issuing
a Temporary Note to b e held by s aid Water Works (Investment Account) and
payable out of said City of Salina Construction Fund.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Temporary Note tobe signed by the mayor and
attested by the City Clerk, in the sum of $9,785.59,dated March 19th,
1951, payable to the order of the Water Works Fund of the City of Salina,
Kansas, and payable out of the City of Salina Construction Fund is hereby
authorized, such note to be payable out of such fund after there has been
received and paid into such fund the proceeds from the sale of bonds to
be authorized in payment of the cost of constructing sewers provided for
in Engineer Job No. 270, City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That Temporary Note shall be issued bearing interest
at the rate of one per cent (1%) per annum, from the date thereof until
paid.
