A RESOLUTION providing for the appropriation of certain real estate
for use by the City of Salina.
-WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Salina, Kansas, deems
and declares it necessary to appropriate the following described property
located in Saline County, Kansas, to—wit:
The Vuest Five 6) Feet of Lots 6,8,10,12,
14,16,18,20,22,24,26,28,30,32,34, 36,38,
40 and 42 in Block 2, VanTrine's Addition
to the City of Salina, Kansas, and the East
Five (5) Feet of Lots 5, 7,9,11,13,15,17,
19,21,23,25,27,29,31,33,35,37,39 and 41
in said Block 2 in said Addition to the
City of Salina,
for the use of the City in the construction, maintenance and replacement of
a lateral sanitary sewer to serve the entirety of said lots aforesaid,
as planned, selected and projected;
SO, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RLSOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners
of the City of Salina, Kansas:
That a survey, description and plat of the aforesaid land so
required by the City for such purposes be made by H. -F. Harper, surveyor
and City Engineer of the City of Salina and filed with the City Clerk of
said City prior to 5:00 o'clock P. lei. on February 12, 1951.
That this resolution be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
