j A RESOLUTION relating to the issuance of Temporary Notes in the
amount of $1421.25: $1630.25: $1339,17 and$2360958,
V"�REAS, by Ordinance Number A-477 there has been appropriated
and transferred by the dater Vlorks Fund to the City of Salina
Construction Fund the sum of $6,751.25, which sum is to be returned
from Construction Fund to 'V'+ater 'forks Fund as soon as the construct-
ion of Lateral Sanitary Sewers Numbered 244, 243, 241, 242, 217, 216
and 11ain Sewer "V" is completed, and the cost thereof is ascertained
_ ! and bonds are issued in an amount necessary to take care of the bal-
ance of such costs: and,
1,7 EREAS, it is deemed necessary and proper to evidence the advanc-
ing of said sum of X6,751.25 from the o�ater oVorks Fund to the City
of Salina Construction hind above mentioned, and the debt thereby
created, by issuing Temporary Notes to be held by said eater +Yorks
(Investment Account) and payable out of said City of Salina "onstru-
ction Fund,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That a Temporary Note to be signed by the Mayor
and attested by the City Clerk in the sum of $1421.25: 94'1630.25:
$1339.17 and $2360.58, dated October 18th, 1949, payable to the order
of the eater Yorks Fund of the City of Salina, Kansas, and payable
out of the City of Salina Construction Fund is hereby authorized,
such notes to be payable out of such fund after there has been rec-
eived and paid into such fund the proceeds from the sale of bonds
to be authorized in payment of the cost of constructing Lateral
Sanitary Sewers numbered 216, 217, 241, 242, 243, and 244: and Main
Sewer "V", in the City of Salina, Kansas.

Section 2. That Temporary Notes shall be issued bearing interest
at the rate of one per cent (1,9�,) per annum, from the date thereof
until paid.
