A RESOLUTION relating to the issuance of Temporary Note in the amount
of ;5,022.35

I TiERE&S, by Ordinance Number A-474 there has been appropriated and

transferred by the Water +4orks Fund to the City of Salina Construction
rund the sum of 45,022.35,which sum is to be ret tined from Construction
Fund to Water `storks rund as soon as the paving of alleys provided for
in Ordinance Number 5388 (known as Job No. 255) is completed, and the
cost thereof is ascertained and bonds are issued in an amount necessary
to take care of the balance of such costs; and,
i1iiER&iS, it is deemed necessary and proper to evidence the advanc—
ing of said sum of $5,022.35 from the Water ''iiorks Fund to the City of
SRlina Construction Fund above mentioned, and the debt thereby created,
by issuing a Temporary Note to be held by said Waterworks (Investment
Account) and payable out of said City of Salina Construction fund.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissionerd of the City of Salina,
nansas:
Section 1. That a Temporary mote to be signed by the "ayor snd
attested by the City Clerk, in the sum of $5,022.35, dated September 20,
1949, pay able to the order of the datertirorks Fund of the City of Salina,

Kansas, and payable out of the City of Salina Construction `'und is here—
by authorized, such note to be payable out of such fund after there
has been received and paid into such fund the proceeds from the sale
of bonds to be authorized in payment of the cost of paving alleys
ti
provided for in Ordinance Number 5388 (known as Job No. 255), City
of Salina, KM sas.
Section 2. That Temporary Note shall be issued bearing interest
at the rate of one per cent (1%) per annum, from the date thereof
until paid.
