WHEREAS, by Ordinance Number 414 there has been appropriated from
and transferred by the Waterviorks Department Fund to the City of Salina
Construction Fund (Sanitary Sewer eroject) the sum of 405,332.31, which sum
is to be returned from Construction Fund to Ydaterworks Fund, as soon as the
construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewers numbered 218 and 219 and blain
Sewer "W" is completed, and the cost t ereof is ascertained and bonds are
issued in an amount necessary to take care of the balance of such costs,
and
WHEREAS, _it is deemed necessary and proper to evidence t e advancing
of said sum of �v5,332.31 from the Waterworks Department Fund to the City
of Galina Construction Fund above mentioned, and the debt thereby created
by issuing a Temporary Note to be held by said VVatervrorks Fund (Investment
Account) and payable out of said City of Salina Construction Fund.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1.
That a Temporary Note to be signed by the ivayor
and City Clerk, in the sum of X5,332.31, dated February 23, 1948, payable
to the order of the Wateworks Fund of the City of Salina, Kansas, and
payable out of the City of Salina Construction Fund, is hereby authorized,
such note to be payable out of such fund after there has been received
and paid into such fund the proceeds from the sale of bonds to be author-
ized in payment of the cost of constructing La,eral sanitary Sewers numbered
218 and 219 and for Main Sewer "W" in the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2.
That a Temporary Note shall be issued bearing interest
at the rate of one (1%) per cent per annum, from the date thereof until
paid.
