4250 Cedar Ridge Addition Improvementsr DO NOT WRITE IN THIS SPACE PETITION NUMBER City Clerk's Office '04 MAY 1J FAIT- TO: THE GOVERNING BODY City of Salina, Kansas (A) We,the undersigned, being owners of record of property liable for assessment for the following improvements: *The curbing,guttering,paving,grading,and drainage of approximately 1350 lineal feet of Pinecrest Circle approximately 175 lineal feet of Timber Ridge Drive and approximately 300 lineal feet of Edgewood Drive to serve Lots 8-19 Block 1 Lot 1 Block 2 Lots 1-10 Block 3 and Lots 7 and 8 Block 4 all in Cedar Ridge Addition to the City of Salina,Kansas. *The installation of approximately 1450 lineal feet of sanitary sewer main to serve Lots 8-19 Block 1 Lot 1 Block 2 Lots 1-10 Block 3 and Lots 7 and 8 Block 4,in Cedar Ridge Addition to the City of Salina,Kansas. 'The installation of approximately 1700 lineal feet of watermain to serve Lots 8-19 Block 1 Lot 1 Block 2 Lots 1-10 Block 3 and Lots 7and 8 Block 4 all in Cedar Ridge Addition to the City of Salina Kansas. Hereby propose that such improvement be made in the manner provided by Article 6a, Chapter 12 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated,as amended. (B) The estimate or probable cost of such improvement is: Six Hundred Eighty Seven Thousand,Six Hundred Seventy Seven and 40/100 Dollars ($687,677.40) (C) The extent of the proposed improvement district to be assessed as indicated on the attached plat and is described as follows: Lots 8-19, Block 1, Lot 1,Block 2, Lots 1-10,Block 3 and Lots 7 and 8,Block 4,all in Cedar Ridge Addition to the City of Salina Kansas. (D) The proposed method of assessment: The method of assessment shall be equally per residential unit within the improvement district for all lots except Lot 1 Block 2 and Lot 10 Block 3 which shall be assessed a full equivalent residential unit share for water main and sanitary sewer improvements and one-half equivalent residential unit share for street improvements. (E) The proposed apportionment of costs between the improvement district and the improvement district and the City-at-large is: One Hundred percent 100 %)to be assessed against the improvement district includes: The construction of approximately 1350 lineal feet of Pinecrest Circle,approximately 175 lineal feet of Timber Ridge Drive,the installation of approximately 1450 lineal feet of sanitary sewer,and the installation of approximately 1700 lineal feet of watermain to serve the above stated benefit district. One Hundred percent ( 100 %)to be assessed against the City-at-large includes: The construction of Edgewood Drive. (F) We further propose that such improvement be made without notice and hearing as required by K.S.A. 12-6a04(1) as amended. • No name may be withdrawn from this petition after the Governing Body commences consideration of the petition or later than seven (7) days after this petition has been filed with the City Clerk(K.S.A. 12-6a04).
