RESOLUTION NUMBER 12-6873
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGOTIATED SETTLEMENT OF THE COST
OF ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN INTERESTS IN REAL ESTATE FOR THE EAST
MAGNOLIA IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE DISMISSAL OF
THE CITY'S EMINENT DOMAIN PETITION UPON CLOSING.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the city of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute an agreement with Vorma Olson,
Gary Olson, and David Olson for the,acquisition of right-of-way, permanent drainage easement, and
temporary construction needed for the East Magnolia Road improvement project for the sum of
$24,000.
Section 2. Upon closing on the acquisition of interests in real estate described* in Section
One, the City's legal counsel is authori:.,d and instructed to dismiss the City's pending petition in
eminent domain.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this to day gJanuary, 2012.
