RESOLUTION NUMBER 90-4157
A RESOLUTION ELECTING TO BRING THE CITY OF SALINA UNDER
THE PROVISIONS OF PUBLIC EMPLOYER - EMPLOYEE RELATIONS ACT.
WHEREAS, the Kansas Association of Public Employees ("KAPE") has
requested that the Governing Body elect to bring the City of Salina under the
provisions of the Public Employer - Employee Relations Act; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Governing Body to indicate its desire
to make such election, SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1 . That pursuant to K.S.A. 75-4321(c) the Governing Body
hereby elects to bring the City of Salina under the provisions of the Public
Employer Employee Relations 'Act.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
land after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
8th day of January, 1990.
