AN ORDINANCE DEFINING A WIND ENERGY CONVERSION SYSTEM; AMENDING
SECTION 36-1301(179) OF THE SALINA CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas
Section 1. That Section 36-1301(179) of the Salina Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 36-1301(179). Width, Lot. See Lot Width.
Sec. 36-1301(179a). Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS).
Any device such as wind generator, wind charger, windmill or wind
turbine which converts wind energy to another form of useable
energy."
Section 2. That the existing Section 36-1301(179) of the Salina Code
is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
