ORDINANCE NUMBER 87-9187
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 42-40 AND 42-43 OF THE
hALINA CODE REGARDING ZONING CLASSIFICATIONS; AND REPEALING THE
EXISTING SECTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 42-40 of the Salina Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Sec. 42-40. Establishment of districts.
(a) The city is hereby divided into the following
districts, the respective symbol for each type of district
being set forth opposite its title:
(b) From time to time, planned development districts
(PDD), flood plain (FP) districts, and heritage conservation
(HC) districts may be established pursuant to articles VII,
Vlll and IX, respectively of this chapter. Each such
district may be designated on the zoning map in the text of
this chapter by symbol only.
Section 2. That Section 42-43 of the Salina Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Sec. 42-43. Zoning classifications.
For the purpose of establishing a table of zoning
classifications of lesser change for the purpose specified in
K.S.A. 12-708 the following is hereby adopted:

Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
