ORDINANCE NUMBER 87-9203
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 42
OF THE SALI NA CODE BY ADDING SECTION 42-27, PERTAINING TO
LIMITATIONS ON REAPPLICATION FOR REZONING.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That Chapter 42 of the Salina Code is hereby amended by
adding Section 42-27 which shall read as follows:
"Section 42-27. Limitations on reapplication.
After one official rezoning application has been
denied, an application for rezoning of the subject property
to the same or less restrictive zoning district cannot be filed
until the expiration of six (6) months from the date of final
action by the Board of Commissioners."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
