ORDINANCE NUMBER 87-9195
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 42-25 OF THE SALINA CODE
PERTAINING TO THE REQUIRED FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDATION
OF PLANNING COMMISSION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 42-25 of the Salina Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Section 42-25. Findings of fact and recommendation
of planning commission.
101ithin forty (40) days after the close of a public
hearing on a proposed amendment, the planning commission
shall submit a report to the board of commissioners. A copy
of the report shall be filed with the City Clerk and with the
office of the zoning administrator and such copies shall be
kept available for public inspection. A copy of the report
shall be mailed to the owner of the specific property affected
by the proposed amendment. Such report shall contain
findings based upon the evidence presented and a
recommendation as to whether the proposed amendment
should be adopted. The report submitted to the board of
commissioners shall be accompanied by a copy of the record
of the hearing on the proposed amendment."
Section 2. That the existing Section 42-25 of the Salina Code is
hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
