ORDINANCE NUMBER 88-9246
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 41-27 OF THE SALINA CODE
PERTAINING TO UNCLAIMED DEPOSITS AND REPEALING THE EXISTING
SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 41-27 of the Salina Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Section 41-27. Unclaimed deposits.
Any amount of security deposit and the accrued
interest thereof remaining in the amount of any customer in
accordance with this article who has discontinued service
with the Water and Sewerage Department shall be processed
in accordance with the terms of the Kansas Disposition of
Unclaimed Property Act, as amended."
Section 2. That the existing Section 41-27 of the Salina Code is
hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
