AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REGISTRATION OF
CERTIFICATE OR LICENSE AS A PREREQUISITE FOR DOING PLUMBING WORK,
AMENDING SECTION 8-213 OF THE SALII4A CODE AND REPEALING THE
EXISTING SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 8-213 of the Salina Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Section 8-213. Registration of certificate, license
prerequisite to doing work.
Any person holding a certificate of qualification to work
at plumbing or as an employing plumber or plumbing contractor
in the city shall, before working or engaging in the business
or trade of plumbing, register his certificate in the office of
the City Clerk and secure a license and/or registration as
required in this code."
Section 2. That the existing Section 8-213 is hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
