AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THE PROCEDURE FOR ISSUANCE OF
CEREAL MALT BEVERAGE LICENSES; AMENDING SECTION 5-96 OF THE SALINA
CODE AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION.

"Section 5-96. Examination; investigation; issuance.

Body of the
City of Salina, Kansas:

Salina Code
is hereby amended as
follows:
"Section 5-96. Examination; investigation; issuance.
If the
application for
a retail license is in
the
proper form and
is accompanied
by cash in the amount of the
license fee, the
approval of the
Zoning Official, the
Health
Department and
the Chief of Police,
the City Clerk
shall
approve the license
and issue a
retail license to the
applicant.
After approving
the application
the City Clerk shall
advise the
Board of Commissioners of the action taken on the application."
Section 2. That the existing Section 5-96 of the Salina Code is
hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
