ORDINANCE NUMBER 88-9299
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE II OF THE SALINA
CODE BY ENACTING SECTION 2-21 SETTING THE SALARIES OF THE MEMBERS
OF THE BOARD OF CITY COMMISSIONERS PURSUANT TO CHARTER
ORDINANCE NUMBER 24.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section
1. Effective April
17,
1989, Chapter 2, Article II of the Salina
Code is hereby
amended pursuant
to
Charter Ordinance Number 24 by the
enactment of Section 2-21 as follows:
"Section 2-21. Salaries of members of the board of
City Commissioners.
Pursuant to Charter Ordinance Number 24, each member
of the board of city commissioners shall receive compensation
in the amount of one thousand two hundred dollars ($1,200)
per year, payable in equal monthly installments."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its
adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
