ORDINANCE NUMBER 10-10547
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF A CERTAIN TRACT OF
LAND IN SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
K.S.A. 12-519 TO 12-526, INCLUSIVE.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
' o Section 1. That the following described tract of land, to -wit:
A parcel of land located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 14 South, Range 2 West
of the 6`h Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Southwest Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing
of N 00°37'44" W along the East line of said Southwest Quarter a distance of 50.00 feet to a
point on the North right-of-way line of Schilling Road, said point also being the POINT- OF
BEGINNING of the parcel to be described;
- thence S 89°33'16" W along said North right-of-way line a distance of 2549.57 feet to a
point on the East right-of-way line of Ohio Street;
- thence N 00°32'05" E along said East right-of-way line a distance of 2603.27 feet to a point
on the North line of said Southwest Quarter;
- thence N 89°40'21" E along said North line a distance of 2496.72 feet to the Northeast
corner of said Southwest Quarter;
- thence S 00°37'44" E along the East line of said Southwest Quarter a distance ol'2597.75
feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the parcel to be described; Said parcel contains
150.62 acres, more or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526,
inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the Salina Area Map (Figure 18, P, 172) of the Comprehensive Plan of the City
of Salina is hereby amended to show the entire tract as a Primary Service Area for the extension of the
City utilities and services.
Section 3 That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and
publication once in the official city newspaper.
