In response to your request for water flow data on several
fire hydrants in the Sunset Plaza Shopping Center area, we submit

the intersection of Broadway Boulevard and

The static pressure was 60 p.s.i. The pitot
pressu a was 33 p.s.i. (2-1/2" outlet) and
the residual pressure was 56 p.s.i.

In response to your request for water flow data on several
fire hydrants in the Sunset Plaza Shopping Center area, we submit
the following information:
(a) Hydrant No. 613, located on a 12" main near
the intersection of Broadway Boulevard and
Crawford Street, was tested on August 8, 1975.
The static pressure was 60 p.s.i. The pitot
pressure was 33 p.s.i. (2-1/2" outlet) and
the residual pressure was 56 p.s.i.
(b) Hydrant.No. 676, located on a 6" main in the
Sunset Plaza parking lot, was tested on August 21,
1975. The static pressure was 59 p.s.i. The
pitot pressure was 45 p.s.i. (2-1/2" outlet)
and the residual pressure was 52 p.s.i.
(c) Hydrant No. 677, located on a 6" main near the
intersection of Plaza Drive and Franklin Street,
was tested on June 11, 1975. The static pressure
was 56 p.s.i. The pitot pressure was ,30 p.s.i.
(2-1/2" outlet) and the residual pressure was
50 p.s.i.
