ADDENDUM NO. 1
PROJECT NO. 77-620 (PART I)
STREET IMPROVEMENTS
The specifications and drawings for certain street improvements in
the City of Salina, Kansas, are hereby amended in the following particulars
only; all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
1. Delete from the specifications page P-1.
This page is a part of the "Proposal" for
Street Improvements - Project No. 77-620
(Part I).
2. Add the enclosed specification page P -IA.
This addendum isl;hereby a part of the contract documents to the
same extent as though contained in the original documents and all itemized
listings thereof.
Each bidder shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum No. 1 in
paragraph 4, page P-2.

PROJECT NO. 72-544
STREET IMPROVEMENTS
The ,contract documents for improvements to certain streets located
in Salina,,'Kansas - Project No. 72-544, dated March 1972, are hereby
supplemented in the following particulars only; all other terms and
'CoYrdi'ttons remain 'uncharged.
1. :Section 1.3, entitled "Storm .Sewers"., page 13-1,
.sub -section 2, entitled,, "Classification of Storm
Sewer ,Pipe", paragraph 2: (a) Delete said paragraph
2 and (b) Add the following new paragraph: Corrugated
metal pipe shall be Type B, Bituminous coated as
specified in Kansas State Highway Specifications,
Sections R-6 and R-8, 1966 Edition. Shapes, gauge and
dimensions shall be indicated on the plans.
2. Section 30, entitled "Miscellaneous Items", page
30-2, sub -section 8, entitled "River Crossing",
paragraph 1: (a) Delete said paragraph 1 and
(b) Add the following new paragraph: The Contractor
shall furnish and install the 8-5/8" O.D. steel
welded pipe as shown on Sheet No. 8 of the detailed
plans. This steel pipe shall have a minimum wall
thickness of 0.188 inches and shall have an inside
standard tar coating in accordance with A.W.W.A.
Standard C203-62.
This addendum is hereby a part of the contract documents to the
same extent as though contained in the original documents and all
itemized listings thereof.
