Dear Dr.; -Schurr:
The City of Salina would like to obtain from Unified School District
#305 a drainage easement along the west side of your Salina High School
South property. Mr. Lee Haworth has given the City a similar strip of
land from the northwest corner of Bonnie Ridge Addition to the southwest
corner of your property across the west side of Twin Oaks Addition. At
this time, we have a construction project underway to construct the
drainage ditch from Bonnie Ridge to your south property line. If we -
could obtain this easement from you, we would plan on completing this
ditch from your south property line to Magnolia Road at the earliest
possible date.
This drainage ditch conforms to and is a part of the drainage study
recently completed by Wilson and Company Engineers.

This Indenture, made this / 7 day of - , 1979, by and between
UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 305, -ane Count Kansas, Party of the First Part and
THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, a municipal corporation, Party of the Second Part,
WITNESSETH:
That the said Party of the First Part for a good and valuable consideration
receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, do by these presents,
grant, bargain, sell and convey unto said Party of the Second Part an easement
in, over and across a certain tract of land owned by the Party of the First Part
more particularly described as follows:
A tract of land located in the Northwest Quarter (N.W.1/4) of the North-
east Quarter (N.E.1/4) of Section Thirty-six (36), Township Fourteen (14)
South, Range Three (3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Saline County,
Kansas, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the east right-of-way line of the Union
Pacific Railroad that is twenty-six and ninety-five hundredths
feet (26.95') east of the southwest corner of the Northwest
Quarter (N.W.1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (N.E.1/4) of Section
Thirty-six (36), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Three (3)
West; thence North eighty-nine degrees forty-two minutes and
fifty-four seconds East (N.89042'54"E.) along the south line of
the Northwest Quarter (N.W.1/4) of said Northeast Quarter (N.E.1/4)
a distance of ninety feet (90.00'); thence North zero degrees
fourteen minutes and thirty seconds West (N.00014'30"W.) along a
line parallel to the west line of said Northeast Quarter (N.E.1/4)
to a point that is forty-five feet (45.00') south of the north line
of said Northeast Quarter (N.E.1/4); thence South eighty-nine degrees
